> Home Online courses at Michigan State University refer to courses and instructional programs offered through the Internet and other technologically enhanced media. These new technologies made it possible for MSU to offer instruction without the time and place constraints of traditional university programs. Online course offerings are designed to meet your learning needs when and where it is most convenient to you. MSU has many online courses and degree programs available as part of our regular academic offerings. Information on these programs is available from the MSU Registrar's Office on the Online and Continuing Education web site. Online credit bearing courses can also be found on the MSU Schedule of Courses, just choose the semester you want and click the "Online" icon. There are also several non-credit online courses available on this site. Be sure to check out the List of Non-Credit Courses for course information and previews.
